Steam Weeklong Deal
This week, Blade Symphony is available as a Steam Weeklong Deal! Starting today at 10AM US PST and going until October 21st, 10AM US PST, we're offering the game for 50% off. If you already own Blade Symphony, be sure to pick it up for a friend and show the new players your fighting prowess!
New patch, new challenges.
With this sale, we wanted to celebrate a recent update that introduced Blade Symphony's wushu-trained Hokuten assassin. We've also released a new patch, with an interactive tutorial for novice and practiced duelers alike, to grasp the fundamentals of sword-fighting in Blade Symphony.
Additionally, any stats collected up until now, featured on our statistics-driven website, will be wiped. This means everyone will start fresh and will be able to quickly find how they stack up against other players.
We love hearing about your blood-rushing experiences, so unsheathe those swords and tell us about (or show us) your duels on our forums, give us a tweet or write on our wall!
Maybe I will give this game a try :D Because this game is so unique there is no similar games on the market with this quality!
My questions:
Are you planning to continue improve the game, add more characters (like you did with Hokuten assassin) ?
Are you planning to add steam wrokshop were community can put new wepons or skins?
This is not a big game so my last question is if I buy the game there are lot of people to play with?
Ok i noticed that workshop is supported XD
1. Yes, we are continuing to improve and support the game, after it has been released and is no longer part of Steam's Early Access. As far as new characters, we may see. We're trying our best to balance and polish the current characters (Pure included.) A lot of work goes into the animations, customizable skins and capes, and balance of the character.
2. You answered this question already! :) Steamcommunity.com
3. Truthfully, our playerbase fluctuates from having hundreds at any given time, to having 2 or 3 near full servers to play in. We wouldn't expect thousands of players at such an early time in the game's lifespan.
Thanks for the answer :D I think that the game got my atention on the begining but i was afraid because is a multiplayer game and we need other players to play with :D
I thought that was 75% so I'm not going to buy the game because I bought other games and then i only left money to buy the game with 75% :/
It was a mistake, we said it was going to be 75% but we were told that 50% is the maximum discount that we are currently allowed to do. The news post was made and posted before we realised this. We are sorry for any confusion.
I can understand why you may not want to buy the game. However it is just a $3.75 difference.
I like you guys :D so maybe i will charge my steam wallet and buy the game I think that's a fair price because you are going to update the game and updates are free right? there are no DLC planed? ;D
We have no DLC currently planned.
When does it begin? :O
Hey BananaPancake-Chan,
IndieDB Newsposts are approved when the Editors have time to do so, so we err'd on the side of caution and submitted this story early (maybe a little too early!) I'll edit the newspost to mention this:
The sale will begin at 10:00 AM US PST, which is when Steam's weeklong deals begin.
I think that this begin after the other weeklong stop :D maybe in 3 or 4 hours!
The only thing that i don't like on the game is the Menu but it's an early acess they will change it (or maybe not xD) that black buttons....
You are correct regarding when this deal begins, (after the weeklong deal from last week.)
If you're interested in giving feedback about the Menu, directly to the development team, head over to our GetSatisfaction page:

YAY i hope this game will be fun as it looks like #jediAcademy <3 :D
