Set in the late 19th century, you find yourself on a small abandoned lighthouse island . Scour the island for clues to discover the fate of it's inhabitants and unlock the mysteries of Blackmoor Bay.
Blackmoor Bay is an upcoming first person interactive story adventure game( in the vein of Lifeless Planet, Gone Home,Dear Esther) ,set on a small remote lighthouse island off the coast of Britain. Features :
- A gripping story told from multiple points of view.
- Freely explore a living,breathing island , each place with it's own history to uncover.
- Dark , wet and gloomy atmosphere.
- Interactive world.Almost every object can be picked up, moved or used.
Hey ! I am Alex , the sole developer of Blackmoor Bay.I've been working in the games industry as a Game Designer for over 4 years now and i'm developing Blackmoor Bay in my spare time . It's currently in Alpha, with a most of the core systems implemented.
UPDATE 13 Nov 2014 : Due to job commitments this project is put on hold until the beginning of next year.

It looks like it would be a really cool game and I would love to try it out. I might be starting a youtube channel soon so I would love to play this. By the Way, Will this cost money?
Yes it will. Not sure about the pricing , but it will be very cheap. Between 5-10$ . Depends on how satisfied I am awith the final version.
This looks really really cool. I like the atmosphere, and it would be pretty cool if you added a survival horror element to it. But maybe that's not the direction you're going for. Still, atmosphere would lend itself really well to a horror game...
Well, I cannot say more without giving away too much, but there will be some minor horror elements in the game. The game is intended to be a mystery/suspense/thriller , but with some other influences as well. The upcoming(about a month or so) trailer will tell you more. Thanks for the interest!
Maybe I'll sound like the guy up here but it interested me and I'd like to play it in my youtube channel (it's like my name FavoredTomcat6 even I only have 8 subs, but I want to do games that almost none or nobody has done. Great work man!
