NOTE: THE DEMOS HERE ARE OUT OF DATE and will no longer be updated. Black Ice is still in development, but these are only here as an archive of early work. Black Ice is a Hack and Shoot - a cyberpunk first person shooter / hack and slash rpg about hacking. Think Borderlands meets Tron. The cyber-world is procedurally generated, the colors are neon, the loot is randomized, and the lasers are loud. Black Ice is in Beta - you can try the demo right here!

Check out the new enemy type! He's lean, fast, and he likes getting all up in your business.

I personally think this gif is pants-crappingly awesome, so if you'd like to see the HopSpider in action... wait who am I kidding, of course you do.

This is what happens when you catch them in mid-air. Or, according to twitter, when you feed the spiders acid.

I added a new affix that lets your lasers bounce off objects, and it looks as cool as you'd hope!

Hey, wassup! I have two ideas to share with you.

1) You should port this game over to the gamestick. It's an indie games console and they have a free unity sdk on their website Gamestick.tv I'm an indie dev that uses unity, and I'm supporting it because I think it's truly awesome!

2) Two words: co-op!

I'll check out GameStick! Thanks for the tip.
As for co-op, I'm not promising anything... but I'm totally going to do co-op.
