Black Ice is a Hack and Shoot - a cyberpunk first person shooter / hack and slash rpg about hacking. Think Borderlands meets Tron. The cyber-world is procedurally generated, the colors are neon, the loot is randomized, and the lasers are loud. Black Ice is in Beta - you can try the demo right here!

Buffs are coming!
Fire in the cyberspace? Well, I don't know.
I hear that, but it's too awesome to not do. Also, "The matrix has its roots in primitive arcade games," so I can justify anything that has been in a game as the AI experimenting with whatever code it can find. Also note that this fire effect is temporary and will likely look more digital later.
