Looks great, Especially like the art work done thus far!
Been coasting along looking for a remake of good ol' MoO2!
Can't wait to get my steller converters back :)
Especially like the mod support you're forming up, Hope this gets a lot more popularity!
I'm so confused. The "recent build" is reading 0.1.46 and the demo is saying 0.5.4. Which one is more recent?
0.1.46 is more recent. I was progressing well before I realized that I've made some serious design flaws in my original approach. So I had to overhaul certain systems, which requires me to remove other features that relies on those. So in a sense, it've regressed back to 0.1 but is now much better structured and flexible in what I want to do. 0.1.46 is the latest build, while 0.5.4 is the old version that had more features.
quick question. it looks like an amazing game and would be happy to buy it but why does it say its free at the lobby but then you go to install it, its 10 bucks?
I added a "recent build" branch to let players test the latest build that may not be fully stable, it's not a full game yet. So I'm not sure how it ended up as a "free game" in new games section... Maybe because I didn't check the "demo" checkbox when publishing that branch? I'll see if I can remidy the situation.
Hi,
I've posted your game on the open source/free software games reddit, however, would it be possible to make the license clearer, even if it's just to state it here? I noticed the Google Code page says GPLv3, is this correct? And is there a different license for the artwork?
Basically, if you're making a game that you want to distribute for free to others and want to use my code, go ahead. However if you're making a game that you want to sell, using some (or all) of my code, then talk with me first and we'll figure out something. As for the Google licensing, I'm not a lawyer, but that's the guise of what I'm trying to establish, and that license seemed closest to what I wanted. If you got questions, feel free to discuss specifics of licensing with me.
As for the art assets, they're not included in this license, they're separate. But creating a mod that uses the art assets is fine, as long as you don't distribute the artwork assets (i.e. only race data.xml file, technologies.xml, etc for example)
Cheers for the reply! The only thing I'd suggest is to create a license.txt file stating that or similar to help make it clear, in case anyone gets the wrong idea from Google Code stating GPLv3.
Also, here's the reddit link:

Thanks for the suggestion! I will add a license.txt file in the next update with my above response.
Weird... I can't find this on the Desura alphafunding list, if it wasn't for your post on GOG I would have never heard of it. Thanks for making this!
