COME BACK TO ANCIENT GREEK
I would like to bring you back to b.c. 5th century, a grand era with respectable people. You act as an Greek Archon to construct your acropolis with great artists and philosophers, protect your citizens with your comrades, fight again the invasion from Persia and Carthage.
THE MAIN SURPRISE
It sounds like an old school traditional RTS, right? No, not at all.
1. Though you are the executor of the city, your power is limited by your citizens with suffrage. Every decision you made should get the agreement of the council (Bouleuterion). It needs your skill to amuse the people.
2. It's completely 2D and easy to manipulate. It will made you relax rather than going through the high intense warfare competition. I'd like to convey the feeling of antique, just like the Greek vases painting. It makes itself totally different from any other traditional style.
3. Maybe it is not a user's business, but all the graphics are draw by hand (by me, solely, tough work... -_-), including every frame of the figure animations, just for pursuing a different visual effect.
