Battleschool is a new kind of turn-based strategy that puts you at the helm of your own team of fantasy-style characters. Create a team of four heroes from the races of: Banshee - cursed creatures from the dark wood with a magical link to sound and music, Gargoyle - sturdy creatures cut from the stone of Devil's Peak, Dryad - lumbering, powerful creatures of the forest, Inanimate - objects animated with powerful magic, Ice Demon - creatures that hail from the frozen lands where the frosty peaks of the ice volcanoes are found and Human - natural leaders and cunning creatures of the Riven. Then choose their classes from the likes of: Vanguard - fierce warriors, Dismisser - magical beings capable of controlling magical fields and gravity, Mystic - powerful mages that wield primarily destructive magic, Oracle - beings that can discern events past, present and future, Devout - divine spell casters that leverage holy magic and Grifter - masters of deceit and cunning.
The Devout are a powerful class that specialize in purity magic. Their spells enable them to bring allies back from the very brink of defeat when fighting along side them. Their training focuses on their mental acuity, making them very intelligent, but with weaker physical acumen.
