Battle Corp simplifies the classic board game BattleTech and brings it to the computer. Allowing it to be playable by new comers and enjoyed by die hard fans.
So the game is going to be put on the back burner. I wouldn't call it completely dead but the 1.0.1 patch will probably be the last for at least until 2013. I am proud of what we as a team has accomplish even in-light of the fact that this game was created purely as a three week activity that grew into a 6 month project. I have personally learned a lot though the process and have a greater depth of what it takes to build a game out. Not only that I see why most developer's very first game don't even make it to release.
The game has a 2013 patch in mind. Perhaps Q1-Q2 which should feature music, UI Art and slight feature updates.

How much simplified is it? I would enjoy a Battletech game with a good singleplayer AI to play against.
I tried to keep it a good medium, not extremely simplified but in it's current prototype state it doesn't have all the calculations in it. As well it has no AI and is only 1v1 internet multiplayer. Can be local multiplayer with two instances of the game open but I don't think that really counts :)
