Barons(working title) is a solo project WIP that blends traditional tower defense strategy with top-down style shooter action. In a city devastated by a mutative viral outbreak, the last survivors are the financial and political elite. These new world robber barons have taken to the rooftops of their respective skyscrapers. While the masses suffer and parish beneath them, the barons prepare their fortresses.

This gameplay is relatively similar to the last video, but the game has some UI and overall graphical improvements. This video is obviously multiplayer. I recently switched from Unity networking to Photon Cloud and am happy with the results. The whole switch took less than a days work, and the end result is a smoother, more consistent multiplayer experience.

The big thing that still needs doing is the infected enemies. I need to decide exactly how I want to handle enemy waves. I want players to have control over the types of infected enemies spawning in their opponent's elevators, but there's a lot of balancing to be done so that this mechanic is actually fun. Once I have that sorted out, I can make custom models for each infected type, and at that point I'll probably open up the game to anyone who wants to check it out. Its a free to play web game by the way.
