This video shows some new features like ambient creatures, vehicular damage, dynamic newtonian explosions, procedural materials, new weapons, buildings, and camera logic.
We have been working steadily for the past 2 weeks optimizing and adding new features to the game.
Awesome! Although you really need to get a better friend to play co-op with... He vehicle-trolled you pretty bad. ;)
I love the way the weapons light up the terrain - it really seems to make sense for high-powered energy weapons, and it really makes battles much more intense somehow. I don't think any game has done it the same way before.
I also enjoy the way you can attack someone from such a far range and without recoil - it's realistic with energy-based weapons, and it's pretty cool because it works both ways - both you and you enemies can attack from a distance and without recoil.
Oh, and the animals are a nice touch. They add to the sense the world is a living, breathing place.
