Backlash is a Sci-Fi turret gunner simulation. It was inspired by a DOS game of the mid-90s of the same name, though it is quite different in many aspects.
In Backlash, you control the gun turrets of a computer-controlled space ship. While your (A.I.) pilot maneuvers the ship through interstellar battlefields, you defend it against the enemy. Equip the ship with weapons of your choice, upgrade them and fight off enemy space ships that will try to stop you at all cost.

The beta version of the game is now available for download in the download section. It is fully playable and working (at least i didnt notice any game-breaking bugs), however there will more solar systems to visit be added in the updates until the final release.
When you download and play this game, please keep in mind you are playing a beta version and, which is why betas are made public, please post any ideas, suggestions, complaints and bugs you may have in the backlash forums.

Just downloaded it today and blasted my way through the available levels. I have to say I really like how the space background looks and that warp / acceleration effect is pretty cool. Overall, I quite liked it.
