Description
Azure Domain is an aerial dogfighting game with a huge world, intense action, and a deeply rich story. Between ancient goddesses, extradimensional beings, maniacal dictators and corrupted leaders, it's hard to simply be a fighter pilot.
History
Azure Domain came to be as a direct result of a previous failure.
Our first game, Fury's Sky, was a modification of the original Doom (in GZDoom)that was also a dogfighting game. We pushed the engine well beyond it's limits and created something unique and interesting.
Unfortunately, no one cared. At the time, there were only 4 members of PCMG. One left without ceremony. The other, embittered by the game's failure, attempted to convince our lead developer Gordon to put down programming for good. Fortunately, I convinced him otherwise.
So, a couple of months later, Azure Domain came to be. I began looking for people to help us out. Since then, we've grown to over 30 members of varying activity level.
As of writing (10/12/20) Azure Domain has been in development for one year. We've been working very hard to bring this project to life, and at last it has begun to breathe.
It's definitely been difficult, what with the 'rona ending the damn world. But, we've persevered and have finally become something worth looking at. There is still a lot to do with Azure Domain, but given everything that's happened?
There's no way in hell we're giving up now.
