Great fun to play if you don't mind the simple graphics and basic UI. Just wanted a quick five minute look and ended up playing for hours.
Fist of all I need to say that my rating only reflects Avernum 6 since that is the only one of the trilogy I played. What I can say about is that it's an old school party RPG. It is very complex and you can spend hours and hours playing it. I didn't get the chance to finish it. I guess that's why I gave it an 8/10. It lacks a story that will make you want to finish the game. God, I wish the developer hired a writer for the story. Yes, yes I know It's mostly a one man game but that's jut how I feel.
All of Spiderwebs games, Avernum trilogy included are some of my favorite and memorable RPGs I have ever played. I have been PC gaming since 91' and I always come back to Spiderweb games, because they are among the best RPG titles of all time. Buy them all and support this wonderful and geniune indie dev.
