Change of Plan Here at monkeywrench games we have decided to change from using Half life 2's engine to using Torques shader engine' SO you will see this game having a singleplayer and multiplayer' With this new engine we have no coded these effects into the engine Motion Blurr HDR Depth Feild and we just have bloom The engine already comes with the latest shader and bump mapping' We will keep you updated at we go alone but we are not making the mod on Half life 2's engine' We are making a full single player and multiplayer game' The project started back in the world war when prisoners sentenced to death row where tested on with alpha and beta drugs, after they started to run out of death row patients they started looking in different places for patients' Now the year is 1980 and the Location is Crowthrone Asylum, England after shutting down the west wing for disclosed matters' They turn the west wing into their testing facilities' After making a major breakthrough in their research...

All maps provide the game with an in-depth story line to follow and the story can go either way depending on the players playing. Basically providing you with a single player storyline but with multiplayer action. Also once these maps have been created expect more map as we will continually make new maps with new storylines. Also through this process expect patients getting lost in the storyline and not being in some maps but then returning after finding their friends again. Also expect to see new characters though out the games progress and storyline.

Asylum (West Wing, North Wing)

The North and West wings are where the Patients are kept and down to a power fail there cell doors have now opened and the asylum is a dark and dangerous place.

Asylum (Main Entrance, Security Headquarters)

The main part of the asylum is closest the patients have had to free air and they are willing to do any thing to get out. One thing they are forgetting is that this is where the guards are mainly based and have it tightly secured and well blocked up so that the patients can’t use there abilities to get out. The patients will have to work as a team and try and get past the gates and through the front door as it is there only option.

Just Out Side Asylum (Woods)

The patients are now out and can now use the woods to their advantage. This map will provide good hiding places for the patients, but they forget that there are sniper points located around the asylum and the guards will now have their night vision goggles for help.

Night at the Mall (Mall)

The patients think that they will be safe in a large scaled building such as a mall so they go there in hope of getting away from the guards. This will be a mainly timed game as the patients hope if they can last till the night that they might be able to blend in with the shopping crowd and it is the guards job to kill the patients before the local shoppers get there. This means after about 4mins or so of play expect to see people coming into the mall.

Abandoned House

It’s now been a few months since the patients have escaped and they think they are in the clear, only to find them selves to be wrong moments late when the guards storm the house. Now the patients finding them self useing their house to hide and to use the traps they have setup just encase of a situation like this. The traps are things such as collapsing floorboards. The guards will have to use there team work to find out where the traps are and kill the remaining patients.

Sewers

The patients go into the sewers in hope they can lose the guards here after there house was raided in the last map. From here they want to make their way to the guy who kept them locked up in the Asylum and now the guards really must stop the patients before they get to the asylum keeper’s mansion.

Asylum keepers Mansion

The objectives have now changed and it had now turned in to protect the asylum keeper. The guards now must protect the keeper and kill off any patient that comes near him.
