Lost Archives Patch 1.0.2
Patch 2 commentsThis patch extends the armory in Lost Archives to 150% its original size! IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO APPLY PATCH 1.0.1, YOU ONLY NEED THE FULL VERSION OF...
Lost Archives is a tactical first person shooter. Choose a weapon that best fits your play style and use your cunning to become victorious against unimaginable odds. Be careful though, instead of saving yourself and your country, you may be the one to cause the apocolypse. If the single player ever becomes too challenging, feel free to participate in multiplayer matches filled with AI bots, human players, or both!

How do i play multiplayer? An error message pops up when i try to play, i just want to play with direct conect
I've got a problem with this game. When I start it up, it starts to load and when the starting screen starts to appear, the thing shuts it self down! How do I fix this problem?
Can you please remove this from the GameMaker developers group? It's appearing under the games tab in my profile.
I can't. ModDB has this wonderful thing where you can add a game and then not be allowed to edit it at all. As soon as I noticed everyone in the GM group had this game listed, I sent mail to everyone I figured could change it. Yet I never get a response.
You can check the very first comment on this game to see me rage about that.
cool game!
there are tow endings by the way, when the queen tells you to turn around, there is a checkpoint behind you,its the good ending. Oh and when are you making assault 6 final assault? make more helicopter control levels as well, and tank levels!
Actually Assault 6 was created about 3 years ago, but I never uploaded it to this site. The only place it can be downloaded is at:
Sites.google.com
As it was 3 years ago, that game has many problems that this one does not as I was far less experienced when I made it. Unlike Lost Archives, it is completely multiplayer. The story is told through the "Scenario Mode" feature, which is just a series of simulated multiplayer matches with bots. It actually has fully functional tanks you can use (if you create a class with the 'driver' specialty) but the helicopters have been replaced with jets (which you can use with the 'pilot' specialty)
The full version is up now guys, and yes, I have found another server to host the matchmaking!
It's going through a good deal of maintenance now and there will be times where it fails to retrieve information, but that should stop as soon as maintenance is completed.
Why Game Maker???
Sorry for the late reply!
Game Maker is perfectly fine for the game's purposes, even if it doesn't have the greatest security and the 3D engine is terribly poor. On the other hand, it makes developing games incredibly easy and it's something I'm extremely familiar with so I can literally code a game in Game Maker about 10x faster than a real language such as C++.
Lost Archives isn't the latest first person shooter all ready to compete with big titles like Call of Duty or Battlefield. It's just a small indie game that I work on in my spare time. The full game is always provided free and I don't ask for donations anywhere, it's purely something I do in my free time (and I know this excuse has been used before). So I used the language that's most efficient for me, because I lose nothing for doing so.
