Hi guys. It's been a while but this project is still going on. Been playing a lot of titanfal for *cough* Research *cough*. Titanfall was a lot of fun, and I definitely see some ideas I can steal and implement in Ascend. In fact the next update will feature updates no parkour system.

Environment Concept
This time, we will be showing you updates that is being done for the environment, by talented team of artists, namely Kelvin Hii, Wai Khin and MDee. We are going for an over crowded urban city, with lots of neon glows plus lots of Asian ornaments found in Chinatown.
The future people of Ascend lives in cramped dangerous blocks of buildings.
Another concept of the city street, with some advanced buildings at the far back.
This is the one we finally ended up going with. These are all not yet ready for in-game, merely act as a concept and guide for the team.
Temple Asset
Here's one of the buildings from the concept, put into the engine. Currently it's being done with UDK, but we will migrate it over to Unity.
The team has done a great job on the environment, but sadly they are no longer able to work on this project, and now I will hope to continue working with what they have came up with, hopefully matching the concept and style. Big shout out to Kelvin, Wai Khin and Mdee!
What's Next
After this, the next update will be on the parkour system, as I've mentioned earlier. We aim to make a playable build and would love to get feedback on it. So stay tuned, and thanks for your support!
