Armored Xpress is a new unique story-driven Match 3 game built with rich RPG elements and an ATB battle system.

History

It all began with an idea. That idea became Armored Xpress. Armored Xpress is my second game as an indie developer much more detailed and bigger in scale.

In Armored Express you go on a marvelous adventure to simply deliver a package, but the pirates in your way aren’t going to make it easy. It’s a whimsical fun story, the combat is not so light. Using the Match 3 mechanic at its base you match the color to not gain points but to energize powerful weapons equipped to your mech. Though match 3 is the main mechanic that’s is not Armored Xpress’s only unique feature, I also included a host of RPG centric mechanics to make the game more then just an ordinary match 3. By incorporating health, damage, and status affects along with various accessories to boost stats. The player can really dig into the game. Exploration was also another mechanic that most match 3 games overlook. Instead of clicking from point to point or just looking at an overall map, the player can freely explore the region I call Sector 2. Last but not least the next mechanic I wanted to focus more on were actual quests. Quests aren’t associated with match 3 games. As a matter of fact, most of the mechanics for my match 3 game aren’t associated with match 3 games. But, I felt it necessary to add those features to give my match 3 game the extra pizzazz it needed to stand out amongst the crowd.
