I haven't made an UI to show submarines yet, but once that's done, subs will be a lot more easy to see.
The Project 33 is one of the few CN units that are technically inferior in firepower to the TDN counterpart. The TDN Fast Attack Submarine has missiles in addition to its torpedoes, while this one does not. However, it is faster and cheaper, and with much greater endurance.
You can order your units to attack enemy submarines if they are detected. Else they aren't visible. And if the units you have selected have anti-submarine weapons.
Any weapon that can fire on ships can also fire on surfaced submarines, however, and heavily damaged submarines auto-surface.
To expand on that, submarines are de-facto stealth units when they are submerged, and different ships can detect them from different ranges.

Do we see the submarine visually underwater but cannot issue an attack order on them or do you plan to do things differently?
