The mod has come a long way since it was just an idea and I will continue to polish and make additions until I am ready to call its' final release. I hope to be finished by Summer of 2009 which will feature a custom playable character, custom enemies and a boss, and a couple custom weapons including a tommy gun! I will keep this TC going strong through community support like yours and welcome any and all comments and suggestions.
I will also be graduating next quarter and really want to have Apollyon Asylum ready to show to the industry in hopes that it can help me get a job as an environment artist. I'm currently looking at Surreal and a couple other local Seattle companies in hopes to land my dream job, so wish me luck!

I am looking at Valve but if you knew anything about the game industry, one doesn't normally jump into the big companies from the start. Just like anything worth-while, you've got to work your way up =)

Great work man but I'm having trouble installing it. I thought I put everything in the right place but its not showing up on any map lists or as its own side mode for instant action.
From the screens I can only hope for the best :D
Thanks AlCool, I'm sorry you're having trouble. Have you unzipped all the files into your "…\Documents and Settings\<UserID>\My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Published\CookedPC\CustomMaps" folder?
Also, the game is only set for Deathmatch at the moment so you might have to host a game playing in DM mode.

Yup thar we go. I love UT mapping, and am a firm believe in the superiority of the UT3 engine over all other engines, not just a fanboy belief either. This mapping makes me wish you mapped for The Haunted XD.
A questions, when can we expect a full release? (Or one with more done).

I'm sure The Haunted has some great environment artists as I am really looking forward to that mod. It would be a dream to work with some like minded folks like myself to create some awesome gaming though =)
As for the release, I'm getting some of my classmates from school to do some props for the interior environments so I think that the final release date should be around Independence Day 2009. But I suspect that I will be releasing Alpha Version 2 by Jan 12th, which is when the next school quarter starts so I'm definitely trying to get there before that time.
Alpha 2 will be featuring more puzzles, including a way to get into the underground caverns beneath the asylum! A Mosin Nagant is due to be implemented in the next few days so we'll see how that goes. I'm uploading a picture of the rifle into the images section now, so have a look =)
