Hello Antreyans and Newcomers! We are proud to announce that we have officially launched our Community Contribution Competition, or C3 event! This is where your talent and interest in our game could pay off to where you can see your own creations added to Antreya Chronicles Online!
In order to participate in this competition, it will be mandatory to join our Discord. This is temporary as we wish to move this to our website, but for the time being it will be a Discord only competition.
There are two different competitions: Short Story and Concept Art. Here's how it works:
Short Story Competition
For WRITERS that participate in the Short Story competition, you are tasked with creating a short story that can fit within the lore of Antreya. The best short story turned in each month will be broken down into the form of a side quest which will then be added to the game and playable to all players!
How to win:
- Write a short story of your own and send the file or link in the Discord channel #short-story-competition for us to read. DMing stories to an admin is fine for those that prefer privacy.
- Keep the story to a 7k words maximum.
- It must fit our lore. Some names may be changed when plugging it into the game.
- Optional: Name the story or provide the title that you would like it to have as a side quest in-game.
- If you have any questions, please comment or use the #ask-us-anything channel on our Discord.
Rewards:
- Winner will have their story featured as a playable side quest in game.
- Credit will be given to the winner.
- Honorable spotlight given in Discord (1 month period).
- Permanent Discord role @SideQuestCreator is given.
- Mention of you and your choice of link (Twitch, Portfolio, Instagram, etc) on our social media platforms.
- We would be willing to also provide a reference for any reason for the winner as well. This reward would need to be discussed with Discord admin @SilentWolf#8088.
There are no rules on how to write it, no specific topic is given, you are free to write it how you wish!
Concept Art Competition
For ARTISTS that participate in the Concept Art competition, you are tasked with creating an original art piece that can fit within the lore of Antreya. The best concept art design turned in each month will be built and created as a usable item within the game for all players! Each month will have a different item of focus.
How to win:
- Keep in mind that our art style is Steampunk / Medieval.
- Draw an original piece, traditional or digital is fine, that fits the current months focus item and send it in our Discord channel #concept-art-competition for us to review. DMing concepts to an admin is fine for those that prefer privacy.
- Make sure you stay on the current months topic. Items that are off topic will not be considered.
- Optional: Color it and provide the name you would like for your item if it were to be added to the game.
- If you have any questions, please comment or use the #ask-us-anything channel on our Discord.
Rewards:
- Winner will have their item added to the game, usable by players, and will be gifted to the first character's bank you make for the game. (I.E. Weapon focus month winner drew a long sword. The long sword would have a name they agree to, able to be obtained in game, and will be in their bank when they first load in).
- Credit will be given to the winner.
- Honorable spotlight given in Discord (1 month period).
- Permanent Discord role @ConceptArtCreator is given.
- Mention of you and your choice of link (Twitch, Portfolio, Instagram, etc) on our social media platforms.
- We would be willing to also provide a reference for any reason for the winner as well. This reward would need to be discussed with Discord admin @SilentWolf#8088.
The Focus Item of the Month is updated on the Pinned Post in the Discord channel.
There are no rules on how to create your concept other than it must be an original design by you.
