The playable demo for Another Star, previously only available as a download on the game's site, can now be acquired directly from Desura. If you were unsure about paying full price for the game without seeing it in action, this is a great way to try it out before you buy it.
The demo includes the first areas of the game, including the first dungeon and its boss. Character growth is capped at level 10, after which battles will no longer give your party any EXP. In the full game, you will be able to advance all the way to level 99.
The save files from this version are compatible with the full game, and can be copied to the base My Games\Another Star folder to use them once you've bought the game.
