Alkahest is a unique game in which you take
the role of an aspiring alchemist working on the Magnum Opus - the discovery of
the Philosophers Stone, and the acquisition of eternal life. As you sell your
own mixtures, potions and elixirs, you learn more of alchemy and unlock more
intricate and useful ( or useless) instruments. As your knowledge expands, so
does your shop, attracting more and more important visitors and expanding your
influence over the village in which you've set up shop - and the world as a whole.
Create custom named Potions, and create your own Recipes.
Explore a system of moral choices and "factions".
Fund and help equip expeditions to The New World, increasing your range of ingredients.
Help people in need of your aid, ranging from a rat infestation to eternal life.
Build up a name for yourself amongst the villagers and the Town Criers, be it good or bad.
Upgrade your shop with new rooms and stunning new equipment (or something to that effect).
