Akuto: Mad World has gone through many changes in the past six months. We have finally created a playable early-alpha build, which the public will be able to play for the first time at Radius Festival.
You can see some of the changes in the gameplay video below.
As you can see, the art has been updated (still not final art), there is new gameplay mechanics, and the game has smarter AI. There is also four different weapon types, sword throwing, and bullet deflections. Now you can kill your opponents several different ways. Apart from updating the game, we have also created flyers and posters from movies that inspired us to create Akuto. Can you guess which movies they are from?
We are also planning to release a free early-alpha version of Akuto sometime in the near future. If you want to be notified about the release, sign up to our mailing list.
Radius Festival runs from July 21 to July 24 in Vienna (Austria), and Akuto will be playable on the Sunday (July 24). It is free to come, so you have no excuses to be there.
