What started as a project to teach my son the basics of programming, using Unreal Engine's "Blueprint" scripting, has now taken on a life of it's own in the form of "Age of Omens, a multiplayer, story-driven, survival RPG that ultimately leads the player to intense PvP action, and a procedural generated dungeon system that can be customized by the server host at his/her discretion. Systems currently working: 1. Inventory/Pickup 2. Item database with spawn loot tables 3. Containers Networked 4. Spells with unique effects and animations. 5. Melee combat - weapon decides animation 6. Hunger/Thirst/Health/Magicka/Stamina/Rage 7. Camera Zoom and True First person/Third person toggle. 8. Player House building system (Wood/Stone tier) 9. Crafting System 10. Steam Multiplayer (Tested, can join friends via Steam, host or join server) 11. 64km x 64km Landscape for Surface Map 12. Mount & Taming system with animations. 13. This is just an overview of the working mechanics of "Age of Omens" so far.
