Aed, the Citadel beneath the Sand, is a Single Player First Person Action RPG that takes place on a desolate planet, by the name of Aed, that has had its history shaped through warfare and miracles. Through a course of events the game introduces itself on Aed, which just so happens to be majority desert. Aed remains to have a pocket of society surviving, a few towns spawn the 12.86 mile inhabitable area. Outside of this circle ranging 4 miles in diameter, a storm is brewing. First as one reaches the outskirts of the eye of the storm, they notice the ground level decreasing, this is from the planet’s warfare. Then people finally come across the outskirts of the storm, the only part of the storm that people can survive. After this they come across a veil of sand, almost like an impassable wall. The game is a sandbox game that emphasizes realism over the standard fantasy games that RPG’s usually perpetuate.
