Act of Valor Rencontre (AoV) is a 2013
Ramchuk Entertainment Games & Joypad Gaming 2D Tactical Shooter. In
the game, the player can train and control a squad of 4 members in
combat and use a large variety of weaponry to fulfill mission
objectives. Unlike other shooters, AoV offers many neat features for
diverse gameplay and enjoyable entertainment. Besides on-foot combat,
AoV also offers air combat and ground vehicle warfare. Altogether, the
masterpiece can be best described as incredible and mind-blowing. From
the many features available to the player, amongst them is a fully
operational map editor that allows players to create their own
battlefields for Local Multiplayer gameplay. Better yet, AoV is a
player-designed led game in which the player creates mission objectives
and mission factors. Without a preset Campaign, the player can easily
jump into action with the desired options. During gameplay, the player
earns points for completing objectives and eliminating enemy units.
Earned points can later be used to unlock weapons and maps. With a
multiplex variety of weaponry to unlock, maps to master, and objectives
to fulfill, there is no end for fun. AoV is guaranteed to offer hours of
enjoyment and even more entertainment.

Gameplay:

In AoV the player has the ability to train and control a squad of 4 members.
Each member can belong to a specific or special class from a variety of
classes. Each class offers its own special benefit. Member effectiveness
and skill depends on ranking, training, and equipment. In order to rank
up the player must earn prestige points which are awarded for
completing in-game objectives and eliminating targets. Prestige points
are also used to unlock Maps and Weapons in the Armory. From the Main
Lobby the player has the ability to manage the entire team with simple
click controls.

During missions the player can order various
amounts of commands to his team. All commands are given via radio,
making it possible to control teammates when they are not nearby. Some
commands are categorized as basic while others fall into the tactical
category. Less tactical or knowledgeable players will tend to execute
basic commands more often than tactical. Commands can be given to order a
teammate to do a specific action or play a certain role.

From a vast variety of weapons available, hundreds of combinations exist for
building the world's most feared tactical deployment unit. Whether the
player is playing for fun or testing his strategies, there will always
be room for more and more excitement as content is slowly but surely
gets revealed to the player. Many unlocks make the game worth the few
minutes each day. With all the incredible and awesome features in store,
AoV also offers a competent 1v1 Deathmatch Mode in Local Multiplayer. A
split screen interface and fast-paced maps allow players to compete for
ultimate victory. Sometimes competitive players get tired of repetitive
victories, for such reason COOP Mode is available to satisfy the need
for something different. In COOP Mode, 2 players can join on the same PC
and play a cooperative match.

Apart from the many common
features in modern shooters, AoV offers spectacular gameplay with more
features than any games has been able to offer. A fully destructible
battlefield places the player into war as if it's the real thing. With

Background:

For some, the name of the game may bring memories or relativity to the US
movie, Act of Valor. Well in fact, the game has nothing to do with the
movie at all! Act of Valor refers to the style and feel of the game as a
whole. Sometimes it doesn't require massive combat to lose your best
friend, it could happen at any moment or at any given time or place. AoV
remembers the fallen children and parents who have given their life in
the name of their nation; those who have fallen on the battlefields of
pain and tears. Words cannot retell the horrors and sufferings of those
who give up their freedom, but the graphical images that can scar one's
life forever do. AoV by no means was designed to recreate the horrors of
war, instead, it puts the player into the shoes of a commanding officer
and tries to teach and stress the importance of teamwork. It takes
bravery to join a team and stay committed, but it takes valor to protect
it. The player's objective is to protect his squad at all time.
Fictional names or animated characters may not fully represent living
people, but those men who stand next to you are closer than you may
think.

Rencontre is a French word that means a hostile meeting
between opposing forces. It is not strange that war always has friends
and foes. The additional word has been added to the name to once more
represent the feeling within the game. All combat takes place between
the player's squad and enemy hostiles.
