I'm going to start this news by saying thanks to all who have had a peek at this page or have even started following this games progress. I really hope I can get this to a quality that should be worth the wait.
I live in Cardiff and there is a monthly event called Dorkbot where Nerds, Dorks and Geeks come together and discuss their projects to like minded people. I decided this would be a great place to make a fool of myself in front of PHD holders and respected heads of the tech world. I now hold the honour of being the first game designer to present at dorkbot hopefully not the last though. Now I wanted to tell you a bit more of what I'm asking from you guys. At the moment I'm just one guy working on this. For me it is a labour of love and a drive to make something that asks questions and maybe answer some. I'm doing this as part of an MA in animation but it is hard to find people not only for free but are willing to take a big risk for such an odd game project. That is what I'm asking of you guys here now I'm looking for Unity 3D programmers and a Musician to help get this done faster and more efficiently.
For the Programmers I'm asking for someone who has a lot of experience with driving games, the more local to me here in Wales the better.
For Musicians I have a special challenge and "competition" for you. It is extremely important that you can produce the right sound and feel for this game so I am going to do something to make sure you guys can really show your stuff. Here is a sort video of me gathering research for the game.
What I want you guys to do is make a 30 second track for this video I will then decided on the best sound for the game. Download the raw video here. Then either send a mp3 or the video with the music overlaying it to this E-mail rockonfirestudio@gmail.com. Deadline for competition is for the 31st of January
The biggest news though is what I want the whole World can do to help me!
Yes that is right I want your opinions and views of the world we live in. Over the next four months I will be asking four questions about life. The best answers will be picked and be put into the game as comments to our T.W.O.C. (The World Open Collective) radio DJ.
