A Virus Named TOM

The game is an action-puzzler. The puzzle comes from rearrange circuits to spread the virus. The action comes from dodging anti-virus drones while doing it. It’s one of the few puzzle games out there where you can play co-operatively (with up to 3 friends). But if you tire of working together, there is a battle mode where you can take on your friends to see who is the supreme virus. STORY Dr X brought the world the city of Tomorrow: with robot dogs, and houses that clean themselves. MegaTech promptly fired him as soon as the last chrome brick was laid. But Dr X has one final invention, a little virus named Tom. Help this little gremlin bring the city of Tomorrow back to the Stone Age by causing absolute mayhem throughout the city.

Report RSS Latest Desura AVNT update requires re-install

Unfortunately the latest Desura version of 'A Virus Named TOM' (not the stand-alone version) requires an uninstall/re-install of the game.

Hey alpha fund-ers! There doesn't seem to be a way to message you all so I'm hoping anyone "tracking" the game gets this. The good news is there's lots of new stuff in the latest update to A Virus Named TOM (see below), but due to some odd install issues you need to uninstall/re-install the game (Unless you're using the stand-alone version). Don't worry about your save data because that should be fine. Please let us know if you have any trouble (support@misfitsattic.com). Thanks!

Only 50% more awesome? Amazing trailer. Please find a way to add your voice to the game (or at least make sure you keep up the dev blogs). It's hilarious. Also your daughter would totally make a craptonne of monies panhandling. New form of indie crowd-funding?

Thanks! They take a day away from dev, so glad to hear they're worth it. I'm totally on board with our exploiting our daughter, she needs to earn her keep! If you wanna see more beta update vids, here there are:
