9.03m is a short, first person, art/empathy game for the PC, created by Space Budgie. The game draws upon the disaster that affected many people in Japan in 2011, the tsunami caused by the Tōhoku earthquake. It aims to remember those who passed away in the tsunami as individuals, as opposed to numerical data often found in news articles. Based on Baker Beach, in San Francisco, you must navigate the beach, picking up objects that have washed ashore, in search of butterflies. Half of all received Space Budgie royalties go to Aid For Japan (www.aidforjapan.org.uk), a charity that helps children who lost their parents in the tsunami. The other half goes to Redr (www.redr.org.uk) a charity that helps in disaster scenarios.

A very emotive and beautifully done game. The design, visuals and audio blended seamlessly together. A living memory to those who lost their lives in this tragedy.

Brilliant visuals and overall lovely experience from start to finish. With that price tag it's a steal as well.

It's short, but sweet, and it does the job of touching your heart. This is a very nice game. Very sad, but very sweet. It's a shame that it's way, way too short.

I would recommend this to anyone. The atmosphere, the mood, the aesthetics come together to just make this game so beautiful. Not to mention the amazing soundtrack.

The game is emotion and is about the Japan Tsunami which devastated many families.

I mean why not buy the game, you'll be getting a great product and giving some to charity! It's a win - win situation!

With a low price of $1.99 I don't see why you wouldn't want to buy this. The game itself is excellent and does a great job giving you an amazing experience.

This game really did bring a tear to my eye. The tsunami in San Francisco
was truly devistating and by making this game just shows that you really cared about what happened. Yes it's a short game but it's still worth the money. Also the music was gorgeous, the game was beautiful and I wish you the best luck with the charity.

Calming and relaxing, not sure how much replayability is there, probbaly almost none, but for 1.99 and part of that going to charity, the game is a great experience. Keep in mind though, this game is short.

If the only criteria for a game were the social or emotional impact that it had, I would rate this as a perfect 10. The storylike elements were beautifully executed and deeply moving. However, this is a game, regardless of whatever story it might present. The gameplay and art were quite lacking, and for that, I have to knock of a couple of points. The third point is lost simply due to the duration of the game. For a title that is being sold at $1 (the other goes to charity), it does not stack up in content compared to similarly priced titles. I would still recommend that anyone buy this game, it is a shining, beautiful example of what this medium has to offer the world.
