Use the arrow keys to look around your room. When looking at your screen, you can change application focus by hitting TAB and SHIFT-TAB. To search IOI's intranet for data, change the focus to the IOI Intranet window and start typing. When you have enough data in your download queue, change the focus and press ENTER to begin your download. You can look around your room while downloading, but if you change the application focus, your queue will be cleared and your download will stop. The Indent Cam window will tell you the status of your hacked indent camera video feed loop. Sometimes the camera system will reboot and you'll need to reinject the loop or the loop will become inactive and IOI security will notice that you're not actually sleeping. The camera itself will begin to reboot before the console reports the status change, so keep an eye on it.
