This is a list of things people have suggested in the forum and how many people want it. This way Phr00t can easily figure out what is most wanted in the game right now. If anyone wants to add to this list, just post below and I'll add it when I get the chance.

Things already in the next update:

- More brightness
- Water on the map
- Faster melee weapons

It is also clear accuracy on guns needs to be improved & I am focusing on that now!

About energy usage -- is adding more energy skill points not effective enough? I don't want to lower energy requirements to later find out players were just neglecting their energy skill...

About easier enemies -- I want to fix the balancing issues first before ramping up or down enemy difficulty overall. Also, I may add in "Easy, Medium & Hard" difficulty settings when starting a new game.

I have my energy near 80 (more than twice my stamina) and I'm still having problems. Everything you mentioned has been edited.

What kind of problems are you having? Is your weapon using up too much energy? Are you also using other things that use up energy, like timewarps & telelocators?

The best adjustment would be to make energy skill points provide more energy per point...

I run out of energy after 1-2 fights from 100% using nothing it my weapon. Most time warps I find use between 60-90% of my energy with one shot.

I made the "Energy" skill provide 20% more energy & consumable energy packs recharge 20% more, let me know if it helps.

One thing I've been wanting is some sort of banking/vault system to store some items out of the players inventory.

Once you unlock the hatches, you get a construction tool which you can use to build storage bins!

Oh my.. forgive me. I just found that out for my self and came back here to say so.....I've unlocked them long ago but never actulay looked at the build menu with much attention it seems.was so busy just playing with other features.

Edit: also before I ask for another feature that already is ingame (looked around could not see any info)and make myself look even more incompetent on my basic exporation of the game:Is there more then just two aircraft at the moment?are the collectors,spiderbot,ufo's,ect flyable? or will be?

OK guys, I've released v0.66a on BMT Micro. Lots of things should have improved in the combat department -- try it out & let me know how it goes!

There are two "types" of vehicles: flying vehicles with and without weapons, right now. However, the vehicle with weapons gets a random weapon, so it isn't completely the same thing. You can't fly other vehicles yet & I'm not sure what I'm going to add... if you could pilot a spiderbot or collector, I'd probably have to add a 3rd-person view since they are so large.

I feel like it would be a good addition if you could earn skill points for every few enemies you kill. Maybe the more you get rewarded, the more enemies it would take to get rewarded again

I don't know about that, but 1 one skill point per enemy seems like a fair idea. I don't think it would be very op, especially later on, when it might need an increase. What if it was based on level, you could get 1/4 of the enemy's level in skill points rounded up.

I was just saying to make it so that you dont just get really easy skill points, it would require more than one kill to get a skill point. That way, you are more rewarded for doing quests, like Phr00t wanted, but you can also kill a few enemies in the meantime and get a skill point.

OK, going to respond to every request so far:

1) I want more story: the next release will have a "complete" story, but that doesn't mean it is 100% done -- just that there is a story with a beginning and end to modify, if need be. Looks like putting more into the story isn't a priority, though.

2) Combat should be good now.

3) More vehicles... this one is tricky, since each vehicle added needs to be balanced & offer something unique to the game that doesn't exist already in some form. I don't want vehicles replacing other elements, either. So, if people are requesting more vehicles, they need to be specific on what this new vehicle would do & what its drawbacks would be.

4) More weapons doesn't seem to be a priority.

5) What kind of things do you want to build?

6) What type of enemies? I do plan on adding water-specific enemies, at least.

7) Better worldgen.. what do you think could be improved with the worldgen?

8) Assists: Not entirely sure what this request is...? Can someone explain it to me?

9) Backup point on map: OK, but it is a low priority.

10) Compass: Yes, I will get this in soon, if not the next release.

11) Turret: this is a motionless vehicle thing you hop in and fire a laser. I do plan on adding this, but it isn't at the top of my list.

12) Hoverboard: This is actually a really cool idea. However, what will the downsides be to balance it? Maybe the hoverboard makes you stand a bit taller, so you can't fit in buildings, so you have to take it off in the inventory? Or, you make constant, loud noise that enemies can hear & you are easy to see..? Can't jump while in use?

13) Helicopter: This can happen too... probably without weapons & would require skill points between the basic flying ship & the ship with weapons.

14) Dripping effect in water: Cool idea, but very low on the priority list. Would require me finding a nice shader to do it first...

15) Changing weapons while sprinting: already in the next release!

16) Gain skill points by killing enemies: If I added this, I feel like everything could be done just by random enemy killing: getting items, getting skill points & progressing the storyline. I want to keep skill points as a reward for completing entire quests... killing enemies should already be rewarding enough by getting rare item parts.

17) Better biomes: OK, I can expand on the biomes -- I believe there was another thread somewhere talking about them :P

18) More weather: what kind of weather are we talking about? I do want to add some type of "acid rain", where you need to seek shelter or it will damage you (kinda like STALKER has the emissions, where you need to seek shelter).

19) Neutral NPCs: There are the surveyor's, which are semi-neutral now. Once I get done with all the non-neutral content, I can add some neutral stuff depending on the resource load.

20) Look at previous messages: Yeah, this can be done. I'll probably integrate it into the pause menu, but it isn't high on the priority list.

What i plan on working on next:
1) Hoverboard: this should give people a quicker & cheap way to get around on the ground. I think I'm going to make it like you are sliding around on the surface more (yes, kinda like the original skiis idea, but not so game-breaking, hehe).
2) Compass
3) Underwater NPCs or Item Sets... hhhrrrmmmmmmm

Assists are when you do a certain amount of damage to an enemy, but a teammate gets the kill and you still get a reward for the kill, just a smaller one. In this case I think doing at least 50% damage to an enemy should still get you a drop, even if someone else killed that enemy.

Hrm.. interesting. Now, robots that are following you should always generate drops... the only situation where items won't drop is when a robot who isn't following you gets a kill. I suppose I can make the % damage done to a robot generate a drop that % of times? Do 40% damage, you get 40% chance of a drop, if you don't make the final kill? OR, should it always be that way -- even if you get the final kill?

I definitely get drops from following robots, and I think that's part of the value of prestige.

One quick note while we're at it: Rollers and spiders could use a lot more health. Since they're always outside, I can pick most of them before they start firing, even if they're at a higher level than my rifle. I also think the spiders could be faster, at least until they're within range to hit the player.

There is actually a bug in v0.66a, fixed in the next release -- notice spiders & probably rollertanks too spawn at less than 100% health. That is because I give them a Stamina boost, but then don't set their current health to the maximum health after the Stamina boost is applied. Anyway, they will have more health on the next release!

Ok, chiming in here,

The thing I most want to see is more biome diversity. Right now aside from the "towns" they're all basically the same, just different colors and different trees.
