I tried it and it confused me. When are letters used and when not?

Started with DUBAI, entered an L under the A and get LAB. Then I added an L below the L to form BALL, but that did not work. Is the dictionary limited?

Yes, dictionary is limited and dictionary have only 8000 words. I working on that.
