Just curious, what is your "goto" when it's about finding ingame music ? Library ? Composer ? Else ? Thanks - Phil |

Hi PhReyGibbons, My go-to would be to find composers individually either in SoundCloud or in YouTube. There are many artists interested to share their musical skills for projects if it is a game you are looking for. What sort of project you are working on? Perhaps I could help you out |

Well, getting one of the composers or designers to compose music for you is probably the best option, but where would you go if you wanted some quick music or soundtrack for a prototype or game jam game? (Assuming rules of that game jam allow the limited or unlimited use of such assets, naturally.) What royalty-free site is actually the best? We're not talking about sites that pop up in the relevant Google search, just about your own experiences. Where do you go if you need some cheap, quick or pre-made music? |

Usually there are composers starting out who will get you music fairly cheap - like me, for instance! As for royalty-free sites, there are a few decent ones you can go with, like www.proudmusiclibrary.com,, but I guarantee that you'll likely be searching for a while before you find anything you like, and it can really bring down a game experience when you use those short clips because they get rather repetitive. Then again, as a composer, maybe I'm biased... |

Hey guys, I create music for games. I am a newcomer here. What should I do to appear in the Media-Audio section on IndieDB? Do I have to add some special tags? |

Hey, I make free of rights music, take a listen on my soundcloud. I propose my work on various selling platforms for people to use it on their project, just check out my website for all the links or if you want to contact me. If you like my work, you can also get my songs on bandcamp. Enjoy ! Edited by: UNREALMUSIC |

If you need music for your game, with versatile vocal (from shamanic very low voice to childlike delicate vocal and even operatic soprano), I invite you to listen to my portfolio here: LIZ KATRIN MUSIC Edited by: LizKatrinMusic |

Yes, Much better to get a composer than to use Library Music, you need someone to convey the exact moment of the drama of the scene or game you are doing. They all come in level of experience and budgets, If you are starting out, find a composer who is also starting up! If you just want a collbab for a passion project, you can easily find a composer willing to help out! |
