That guide post above is still actual and valid. Because many sound designers and music composers over the years ignored it, resumes related to sound design and musical composition may be deleted instead of moved to their appropriate section (Recruiting & Resumes) and if the poster in question continues their spam and posts duplicate threads across different forums, that member can even be banned.

This is effective immediately, if you see any unlocked or undeleted resumes here it is because they have not been cleaned up yet, not because they are allowed. You are supposed to post your resume in Recruiting & Resumes forum only. Also you can use your own member profile to upload mp3 files (using Videos section) and your member blog as well as your member summary to create a concise, additional portfolio right here on the site.

So let's recap how to use related forums:

  • Pimpage & Posing: where you can promote your newly released voice, audio and soundtrack packs.
  • Recruiting & Resumes: where you can post your professional resume.
  • Sound Design & Composition: this forum is dedicated to sound design, musical composition, voice acting and other sound or music related topics only.
  • Jobs Board: the DBolical Jobs board is meant to be a place for job offers only and not resumes. There you can browse through job listings and get hired, or try to hire someone for sound-related position.
