I am playing Rome 2 and just seeing how much better walls were in siege maps.
If this game came out in 2014, can someone please remind me why in 2022 we have Warhammer 3 containing those silly unbreakable middle-wall pillar things? It looks so hokey, and takes away from the immersion honestly. Seeing an entire section crumble from siege weaponry, and then sending troops through the breach loses a lot of its fun when there are these odd pillars in the way reminding you of a major game defect. It's not just cosmetic either, they block incoming missile fire, indefinitely.
CA says they're listening to the forums, I hope this can be fixed. I've hated it since WH2 but figured it would be gone in WH3.
