Visual Story Type Platform Thread

Hey all I wanted to pass on this very nascent platform I am developing my first visual novel/interactive story type of experience on. I've always been interested in game design and writing, but never was strong at the technical stuff, so when one of my writer friends suggested the StoryLoom platform to me, I thought I'd give it a shot. I actually haven't published anything just yet (although I have my first few chapters queued), but it's been really neat to play around with. It's definitely far from being complete and still has some kinks to work out, but it seems like a great jumping off point for this type of content, especially since most of the other visual novel creator software I looked into required a lot more technical understanding.

I actually never considered this type of game writing, but I'm really surprised by how much I'm enjoying the process. It's wayyyyy different than writing novels, which is also the world where most of the other writers on the platform come from, so it's nice that I'm not alone in being technically ignorant lol.

Since it's so new, they are currently working on a structure for writers to apply to get paid for what they're creating, haven't been shared with us what that'll look like at scale though. Anyway, happy to answer any questions about it (hopefully I don't come off like a shill, just want more people to join the community!)
