Ice Node Interactive is looking for talented individuals on the Source engine to assist in the creation of a tester product that will be used to collect market data and metrics. All positions are paid weekly, however, time is of the essence giving this entire project a maximum development time of 2 months. Bonuses will be paid to those that manage to complete tasks before the deadlines, and to those able to handle multiple skillsets.

Position: Programmer

  • Fluent in English reading and writing
  • Experience with Source programming
  • Experience with Source networking
  • Deep understanding of Source & Steam frameworks
  • Willing to follow programming & game requests with precision

Position: 3D Modeler (Characters, NPCs, Props, Weapons)

  • Fluent in English reading and writing
  • Experience with Source modeling
  • Has access or owner of all required software to handle modeling on Source engine
  • Deep understanding of modeling compiling from chosen modeling package to game
  • Willing to change designs based on feedback
  • Experience with animation preferred
  • Has a creative mind in the design of enemy types based on verbal descriptions
  • Willing to work with other team members in the animation & 2D Artist section
  • Portfolio preferred

Position: 3D Animator (Characters, NPCs, Weapons)

  • Fluent in English reading and writing
  • Experience with Source animation
  • Has access or owner of all required software to handle animation on Source engine
  • Willing to change animations based on feedback
  • Experience with modeling preferred
  • Has a creative mind in the animation of enemy types based on verbal descriptions
  • Willing to work with other team members in the modeling section
  • Portfolio preferred

Position: 2D Artist

  • Fluent in English reading and writing
  • Experience with detailed Source texturing
  • Has access or owner of all required software to handle texturing on Source engine
  • Deep understanding of the Source texture compiling process from texture to game
  • Experience with texture materials including normals maps, diffuse maps, and specular
  • Willing to work with other team members in the modeling section

Position: Level Designer

  • Fluent in English reading and writing
  • Experience with Source mapping
  • Has access or owner of all required software to handle mapping on Source engine
  • Deep understanding of level trigger events and multiplayer map components
  • Willing to work with other team members in the programming section
  • Willing to follow drawn 2D map blueprints and convert them with an element of creative freedom to ingame
  • Portfolio preferred
