Oscilloscope Games! - The Origin of Video Games! Thread

I found this really interesting and have not come across it before, though I am sure many will have seen it, I thought I had seen the origin of video games but turns out I didn't research it deeply enough or perhaps I forgot over time.

There was also a Chess Game written by Alan Turing in 1958, but it was too advanced for any computers at the time.

Pretty amazing I think I could still have fun playing this to this day, much better than pong!

Edit : apparently it was just an attraction at a scientific institute! He didn't even take it seriously and never filed for a patent, though if he had it would have been owned by the government.
