One of the greatest SNES games in my opinion!!! Thread

I just finished The Legend of Zelda: A link to the past for the fourth time since the game was released. I was 9 when the game first came out and it completely blew me away. So many years later and the game still is just awesome. Some of my best memories as a kid is opening up my SNES for Christmas and opening a Sega Genesis the following Christmas. Nothing smells better than opening a brand new gaming console. I love that smell...lol.

Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis. When I was dead broke man I couldn't picture this.

I love Link to the Past! I never actually beat it though. I didn't have a copy for my SNES, so I played it again when Four Swords came out. Got all the way to the last temple and lost the cartridge...but still I've always thought it was a highlight for the series.

I liked playing that game so much my final play through was with having min powerups/items. No sword, no shield, 3 or 4 heart health (I only picked them up if I needed to so I could complete the map). The final Gannon battle would always have one hit left on him & then I'd get killed. Every single time.

Ahh, the good old days where you didn't need achievements to try to be badass in a game.
