Is it possible to demake Portal in GoldSRC engine? Thread

I am a big Half-Life fan!

I also like Portal series, in which theme this thread is posted!

I wonder if it's possible to recreate the feeling of Portal in an old, but awesome game like Half-Life!

Yes, i know that there will be comments/answers that "You could just download HL:Source Portal Edition" or something like that. I know that this mod exists, but is it possible to recreate Portal in Half-Life on GoldSRC?

I have seen "Half-Life 2: Classic". It IS possible to make the gravity gun style weapon. Same with "Ejector".

But is it possible to make Portal in Half-Life GoldSRC? With mechanics like the Aperture Science Haldheld Portal Device(A.K.A. Portal Gun)?

If yes, then could anyone make this? I would LOVE to see such a modification!
