Installing Mods for C&C3; Tiberium Wars Thread

Hello,

About a week ago I rediscovered CnC3 and Im already pretty much through the game. I decided to look for mods for the game and tried to install some. My problem is that I didn't buy the game on steam or origin, but my brother bought me the disc (DVD Rom) many years ago. I can't update the game (patch 1.09 i.e. or reach any support ^^' EA ftw I guess) Installing mods also didn't work very well like in the Youtube tutorials. My question now is: Is it even possible to install mods when I only have the old version on disc?
