Incredibly slow download speeds Thread

I keep trying to download mods from here and no matter the mods or the game for which mods I want they are all horribly slow. I haven't had these problems until a month or 2 ago. I will get 600kbs download tops when i used to get anywhere from 10 to 20mbs download speed. All the mirrors I have tried including the EU mirrors. i am located in the us so even the ca mirrors are incredibly slow. i tried downloading a mod for stalker call of Pripyat and it would take 5 hours to download a 7 gig mod. is there anything that can be done or somebody to say something to that could fix it or is this site pretty much dead to download from cause i have no problem with any other sites and i have a download speed on ookla of 250mbs. any help would be appreciated other than asking me if i used the eu mirrors that i have seen people saying in the threads that have been started about this topic

same problem here. And at the moment there is no eu mirrors to select. It takes me 3 hours to download 3gb mod ;_;

EU mirrors will be operational in about 4 days - just rebuilding them at the moment

Im still having this issue if this thread is still active. The cap is still at 600kbs a second. I have emailed the support team and have recieved emails back saying about how it is odd but still to no avail. I honestly dont know what is going on or why the change in donwload speeds happened considering i use to be able to download a 5 gig mod off of here in a half hour. Please if anybody could fix this somehow that would be great because i run off of a 350mbs line and can download a 40gb game off of steam in under an hour so i dont understand if there is no cap at 600kbs on the download speed why im getting shafted by having it capped there.

Did support ask to do a tracert and some debugging like that to determine why your download speed / path is so unoptimized?

Little late to this thread but I'm currently having the same problem with NA mirrors. Trying to install S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly and it's like my downloads are capped at 1mb/s. I have a gigabit connection so it shouldn't take ten minutes to install but it tells me it's going to take 2 1/2 hours to download a 2.3 gigabyte file and that's just absurd, is there a fix?
