How to play Brutal doom with XV117's Monster Expansion? Thread

Hello everyone, I'm not particularly tech savvy, but I somehow managed to get brutal doom and it's awesome; but I'm now trying to play it with the XV117's Monster Expansion - 1.2-Pre3, but I cant get it to work, I moved XV117's Monster Expansion - 1.2-Pre3 to my GZDoom file and took brutal doom and Monster Expansion and dropped them onto of the GZDoom file and it's just Brutal doom still, none of the new monsters. Any idea on what I'm doing wrong?
