I posted the other day asking about how to maintain a high popularity on IndieDB and didn't get too much input - so I decided to dig around. I found an article that has some good suggestions on maintaining a good IndieDB presence. I highly recommend making an IndieDB page for your game - it's been quite useful to my project. |

I would say the most important thing is consistency. Making content/updates on a semi-regular pattern is making wonders, and communicates to any potential viewers that you will keep that up. One other thing I've found that helps, is providing assets. A picture of your game, a video of the gameplay, can do much more to attract a viewer, than walls of text. It's also worth noting, not everyone can have the same amount of popularity. This is like a competition. Show to the users something others are not offering. |

Hmm... what about posting and interacting with others on their projects? |

I second consistency. That's kind of necessary but maybe not sufficient though. |
