First teaser for Ouroboros Vandaleria, our new 16 bit action adventure game! Thread

So what is Ouroboros Vandaleria about, you may ask. In short, it is a love letter to the action adventure games and rpgs of the 16 bit era. Inspired by the likes of A Link To The Past, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, and Secret of Mana our goal is to authentically recreate the feel of that era of gaming while also updating it for the 21st century. Ouroboros Vandaleria is the story of a young boy born into an obscure family in a remote farming village in the vast Gothic Empire. He lives a normal, insignificant life until one day he is given a strange and ancient book by his grandfather, who tells him that it contains his family's secret, mystical, and largely forgotten past. This book leads our hero on an adventure spanning multiple continents, fighting mythical beasts, flying pirates, discovering lost ancient temples, and much more! We will be releasing a free playable demo of the game this Fall, so if you would like to keep up with development we will be releasing regular updates over on our Discord!
