I am trying to download two mods for command and conquer 3 and command and conquer red alert 3. I have no idea why it suddenly started doing this. Support would be appreciated.

I'm also getting "failed - network error" message, and the download stops around 15mb into 2gb download. I resume and it stops again around 40mb... it'll take a life time to download anything. I've never had this problem, so odd.

Same. Wish I knew what was going on. :P

I can't even start my downloads, the download window pops up and then I get a "secure connection failed" message.

it's really frustrating, there's a whole bunch of mods I want to download

Hello, I try to download these mods: Moddb.com

and keep getting an "An error occured during download. Please try again." message in Internet Download Manager, "Host Problem" in JDownloader and a "Failed. Network error" in Chrome. Downloading other mods seems to work fine for me.

I'm also getting the "secure connection failed" messages. Seems to be the sjc4.dl.dbolical.com domain specifically. Downloading works when selecting a different mirror.

I ended up solving my issue by switching to a different server through the Mirror link function.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, choosing another mirror did the trick for me. This post should be stickied!

Also, fun tip. Your download speeds of mods will improve dramatically if you pause your 100gb Steam game downloads beforehand. ;)
