I'm looking to pull the C&C Generals meshes in to Unity and repaint the textures with Substance.
I've exported all the .w3d files from the .big file from my Origin copy of Generals. Using Gmax/RenX I can open them up, mod them, and save back to .w3d.
However, is there a way to export the meshes in another format - such as FBX or even OBJ?
I found a way to create the OBJ data in the Max script listener window within Gmax.
Is this the best pipeline for getting assets from C&C to Maya?
