DOW GOTY Edition Map Pack Trouble. Thread

Not exactly sure where I should post this,
I've been trying to add a simple map pack to DOW I GOTY Edition.
dow_map_pack_i.1.exe

I install it too, C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Dawn Of War\

As indicated by installer, and nothing; the game manager simply does not see it; I have tried moving the contents to

W40K/Data/scenarios/mp and
My_Mod/Data/scenarios/mp as indicated by some of the articles I've read, with no good results.

Oddly the DC Skirmish AI works just fine, but I cant compete with the DC AI without a handicap. (I have the APM of a crippled Monkey) but I do just fine against the GOTY edition, still I would very much like to add more two player maps, while I get more familiar with this game.

I would appreciate any guidance, links will do, that might help me get the application to see the mod/maps would be greatly appreciated. I am not completely programmer illiterate I have some little experience with VBA applications, but I am by no means an accomplished programmer. BB.

-For test, manually copy one add-on map in folder with maps, backup targeted map and then rename new map with that name of backup-ed map(if map has some scripts, copy them and rename them also).
