As a gamer, it gives great variety and depth + it has 4 main endings (+ 2 more if you count those)

As a developer, it is great source of inspiration and idea. Creating 4 characters with their own unique weapons isn't easy, not to mention one of them has distinguishable ability.

Hard to say, if I put it into genres:

• RPG: Dragon Age Origins (awesome stories, characters, combat is extremely strategic)
• FPS: I'm torn between Halo 1 and Half Life. Each game is revolutionary in it's own right. Personally I'm lean towards Half Life more.
• Strategy: I've only played very few game so I don't think I can choose a game of genre.
• Horror: Not my cup of tea but I'd say Resident Evil 4?

Best game ever made? Heroes of Might and Magic 3. You know a game is the best out there, when people continue to play it long after sequels, more graphically intensive counterparts and genre decline have set in. Also replayability, amazing score/soundtrack and multiplayer comes to sense (all those are missing from half-life as previously suggested). On top of that, the game literally established a whole genre (more than its predecessors) and spawned copy-cat IPs all around, that still struggle to include all aspects HoMM3 had.

As for each separate genres, it's too ambiguous: Titan Quest, Dragon Age, Pokemon and Final Fantasy are all considered RPGs, but each one belongs in a subgenre on its own, completely different from the others. You can't tell which one is the best, if you categorize it so vaguely. For example: Is Witcher 3 an RPG or a 3rd person action game? If it is an RPG due to character stats (health, weapons, quests) then GTA5 is an RPG as well in that sense. I hope you catch my drift

Ooh, tough one. I think Halo CE is still one of the finest earlier FPS games when it comes to story, mechanics, and how well it holds up; UT1999 is still a blast with friends; I love Minecraft and have done since I first played it back in Beta 1.2; and I also think DOOM Eternal is one of the best modern releases of a game. I also think Starcraft 2 holds up remarkably well as far as RTS games go, and for arcade shooters the lesser known but exceptionally good Warblade (for which I made what I think's the first mod on the internet for it) is a brilliant go.

To be honest, I personally think that by far, the best game you can play is CS GO. It is optimized, the graphics are not bad, and in general, it is always nice to play this game with friends. Also, this game has an interesting opportunity, like buying skins for this game, from third-party sites. I always buy skins for myself on the Dmarket website . I found out not so long ago that there is an action that will last until mid-January, I decided to buy a few. I recommend you to hurry up while there is time.
