2D low resolution game Thread

Hi, I have an idea for a game and I'm not good at all at programing I was hoping that someone could help me.

The idea is a character that is 4x4 pixels big and each piece of land one pixel big and a randomly generated world that you can make your own, mining a random amount of pieces gives you color, the colors are also randomly generated. Using color and pieces of land you can make rivers, lakes, houses, cities, rocket ships and space stations.

Later on i was hoping to have a way for you to add your own textures.

If youre not good at programing, i suggest first to make some simple games to get used with a code, it doesnt matter how your graphics look if youre making complex game, it will be harder to do it but, its up to you, do whatever you want to do

Know of any good Programing Languages?

It's an interesting idea. I think a good soundtrack could take a game like that far!

I would suggest maybe use a tool like Buildbox which doesn't need any coding...
everything is drag and drop and node based... there are several templates to help you get started and you build up from there...
but it's only good for simple games...
